WMI trip to Colombia

Students and others are able to participate in a World Mission Initiative mission opportunity because they are encouraged by a classmate, professor, WMI staff member, and especially because of the financial support they are promised. Participants gather for three pre-trip preparation sessions before they leave for peoples and places completely new to them. Your gift equips students to go into the world with spiritual readiness and cross-cultural awareness.

WMI encourages participants to "pack light" by leaving behind both items and attitudes that might hinder their witness. Your gift resources participants with what they really need both in their suitcases and in their hearts - humility, faith, and love - as they participate in God's mission.

WMI sends participants with a strong foundation of prayer and with confidence in the promise of the Holy Spirit's presence. Your gift of support for participants' travel costs gives tangible testimony to the strong prayer support that surrounds them as well.

Participants are mobilized into God's mission in a lasting way when they form relationships, as happens through Christian partners around the globe who welcome WMI trip participants to join them in ministry. Your gift gives participants the opportunity to form lasting relationships with church leaders around the world.
